The design of the HB coupe classic is having some work done. Our 1:1 scale model showed us all sorts of detail work that we are not happy with. This is however a work in progress. The front of the car will be drastically changed. The lines are way to square. #HuetBrothers #gt Many of the changes are tweaks to the original design and we are certain the car will only improve with these changes. Its a lot of work though... keep you posted!!
On the Ferry towards Isle of Wight. This picture was taken on our maiden run after rebuilding the HB Special for a trip in the UK. #HuetBrothers, #hbspecial,
We were never too happy with the way the window was made on the HB Special. It was a windbreaker doing its job right but it made the cockpit rather large and out of proportion. #HuetBrothers It takes a huge amount of time to get it right. The angle of the window and the side windows create a much snugger cockpit feel. It took us about 16 hours to shape, bend and saw to have the final setup. We are very happy with the result!!! Keep you posted on the next updates!!

We finally started on our first donor car. Strange feeling to dismantle a complete new car, but also very exciting! We stripped the car and divorced it. The subframes are held together by the torque bar. All in all a very good basis. We are confident it will be a really nice drivers car. #HuetBrothers
These are shots taken from the outside of the milling area through glass that is full of Styrofoam hence the blurred pictures. This step is a necessary one because the computer images - even when they are as good as ours - do not give you the same impression as a 1:1 scale model. #HuetBrothers, #carmodels It is a way to adjust the model before you start making expensive moulds. The Big companies do it with clay and then final adjustments are made by scanning the whole car in.
