The Swiss Summer Rally is a privately organised trip with classic Bugattis. We will be attending once again with our HB Special. This year we will be travelling to the French and Italian Alps to tackle some of the great mountain passes. For sure like all other years it is going to be extremely cool.

The Trip started from La Rippe (a small town above Geneva). Through Geneva, Annemasse towards the first clime col de la colombiere. Straight to the next Col des Aravis to stop at Notre Dame de Bellecomb for lunch. After which we tackled  Col de Saissies and col de Meraillet to go on to Val d'Isere where we would stay the night.

The start of the next day was the Col de L'Iseran, followed by col du Mt Cenis. Through Susa towards Usseaux where we had lunch at the lake.

After a good lunch we drove down to Saluzzo Italy where we stayed for the night.

On our way down to - almost Nice - to turn around a go back up - lunch was at the top of the col de Brouis - nice place. On we went to col de Turini, Col de la Comaine and on our way to Auron were we stayed the night.

The highest col of Europe.

Early morning we started on the Col de la Bonette (2810m) which is the highest of Europe followed by col de Vars to have lunch in Vars. Col d'Izoard and col de Lauteret to finish in les Deux Alpes.

Next morning started with col du Glandon.

On to col du Frene, monts Jura back to La Rippe. All in all a fantastic trip with extremely good weather... maybe a bit hot! We counted an incredible 57.4 C inside the HB Special. We can assure you that is beyond pleasant...
